This 4,800 sq ft. commercial timber frame was designed by architect Dave Straus of Straus & Seibert AIA Architects and is the epitome of what a lumberyard office can be like.

All of the timbers, purlins, ceilings and siding were reclaimed from a mill located in Oregon's high desert just outside of Burns. The mill stood 80 years while these gorgeous Douglas fir timbers slowly dried to perfection.

All of the steel rods and plates were recycled to construct the trusses. Even the light fixtures are from the old mill.

Most of the lumber was used in its natural condition to provide the authentic rustic patina effect. Only structural timbers were resawn and graded to meet specifications.
